What skills did you gain that you found to be advantageous from being part of the group?
The greatest skill I have gained from being involved in this group are learning to work with people of various ages, personalities, and cultures. Being able to run experiments on my own helped me develop my leadership skills. All in all it was a beneficial experience.
What have you been doing since you graduated?
While involved in lab I was interning at Bear Stearns which developed into a full time position in the HR department, more specifically, I was a recruiter’s assistant.
What are you doing now?
For the past two years I have been working at a law firm in mid town Manhattan as an HR assistant where I have been increasingly taking on more responsibility by helping out the recruiter and the HR specialist as well as the legal recruitment department.
Do you have any tips for current lab members?
Be very tedious and accurate with your work because data lost cannot be found. Take your time and accuracy with all your participants because they can be hard to come by sometimes. Always stay focused.
