I definitely learned how to collaborate with others. Among other skills I learned project management skills, data organization, and summarization skills.

I started off as a Research Coordinator at Spectrum Health in Michigan. Then I was a Research Manager at Wirthlin Worldwide in Michigan.
What are you doing now?
I am the Vice President of Institutional Research and Assessment at Davenport University in Michigan.
Do you have any tips for current lab members?
Take those statistics classes and pay attention! I got my first job because of my statistics background. A person with a Ph.D., knowledge of research methods, statistical skills and the ability to work well for others will always be in demand.
